Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth is not a great poker player, he is a phenomenon. He has achieved more in the last 5 years then most poker players (even the professional ones) achieve in a life time.
Phil's poker career began shortly after his graduation from the University of Wisconsin. He said his career goal is to be known as the best poker player of all times. He accomplished his first World Series of Poker title at the age of 24, the youngest person to ever achieve that.

Achievements
After that, he attended and won more than 50 tournaments, including winning nine World Series of Poker bracelets in many other tournaments all around the world .At the World's Biggest Seven-card Stud Tournament in Austria and Late Night Poker in Britain he achieved first place.

More Achievements
In 1996 the poker industry voted Phil the "best all around tournament poker player in the word". Advertisers of leading Sporting goods, such as Oakley eyewear and EA Sports, call Phil "a poker icon".
In 2005 he won first place and a cash prize of 500,000 at the Golden Nugget's National Heads-Up Poker Tournament against 64 of the world's best poker players.

And More Achievements
Phil released his first book, "Play Poker like the Pros," that entered The New York Times Bestseller list. "Play Poker like the Pros" has been translated into French and Czech. His second book "Bad Beats and Lucky Draws" was released in November 2004 and his third book on playing poker, "Texas-Hold'em", was released in March 2005.
Phil had also released a video called "Phil Hellmuth's Million Dollar Poker System". The video purpose is to give poker advices for the masses.
He also has a Texas Hold-em cell phone game that is ranked Number 2 in the Casino game category.
And if you think it is really too much for you, you should wait because his autobiography, "Poker Brat" is not out yet.

And If That Is Not Enough
Phil has not covered only the book and home video section, he may have a taste of the big screen because Beacon Pictures recently optioned a script for a movie based on his life. And let us not forget the reality television (which we can not live without) that is developing a show "Winner Takes All" created and starring Phil.

Family Life
if you are thinking "I don't see how he will ever have the time to settle down and have a family" don't worry, he is currently settled in Palo Alto, California, with his wife Kathy, a doctor at Stanford University, and his two sons.
