3,000 Dollar Drink
Foxwoods Resort Casino's new signature cocktail is served in a traditional martini glass and costs 3,000 dollar.
This highly expensive Sapphire martini is made with Blue Curacao, Bombay Sapphire gin, a splash of dry vermouth and blue sugar on the rim. The cocktail is a very strong, and slightly sweet, but does it really worth that much. For some it really does and they will be willing to pay this amount for the experience and for the status statement of it.
This marketing approach of premium cocktails has become popular and it is offered in many other places that present 4 digit cocktails and more. The Algonquin Hotel's Blue Bar in New York offers a 10,000 dollar diamond martini. The martini holds within a diamond from the hotel jeweler. The Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio hotel-casino on the Las Vegas strip also offers a pricy drink. The drink offered is a 50-year-old aged Chivas Royal Scotch that costs 1,050 dollar.
