A Woman in a Man's Territory

The gambling world has always been a man's world, but the days women were not allowed to gamble are long gone. Cat Hulbert has been a successful gambler for many years. Besides being a successful gambler, cat has been working with Czech Team of blackjack card counters and also with Ken Uston's blackjack group in Atlantic City. About twenty years ago she decided to pick up poker skills and start to play at tournaments. Her decision to enter another male considered territory was a natural step.

Sharpen Her Skills

After playing at poker tables that are filled with male attitude towards women at casinos, she has begun to adopt her own methods for the poker game. Cat then begun to play at casinos, poker tournaments and also the World Series of Poker for several years. In 1993 at the World Series of Poker, cat has made it to the final table of the Seven Card Stud event.

In 1996, Cat was considered to be one of the best Seven Card Stud players in the world by Card Player Magazine. Cat continues to play both Seven Card and Hold 'em to this day at the middle level stakes in the casinos of Los Angeles. She also teaches poker at tables, usually tables where all the players are women.

The book is filled with tips, strategies to different card games and useful suggestions on how to act at a poker table.
