Movie actor Joe Reitman won the UltimateBet.com online poker tournament. The UltimateBet.coms 1 Million dollars Guaranteed Tournament was held on Sunday. The total 1.3 million dollars pot split between the 200 players who reached the final event.
Reitman went home with more than 266,000 dollars prize, after beating 2,773 online poker players from across the world. He and the 9 other players who reached the top 10 won 12,000 dollars seats in the 2006 World Series of Poker.
Joe Reitman acted in more than 20 Hollywood films including Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Perfect Storm and Clueless. It was not his first encounter with poker tournaments, he often participate both in live and in online tournaments.
According to Reitman, he learned to improve his skills from his girlfriend, the professional poker player Annie Duke. Reitman recently produced the poker show Annie Duke Takes on the World. The show will be broadcast on GSN this May.
