On May 13 Yavapai-Apache Nation’s Cliff Castle Casino raised the impressive amount of $7,865 at the 2006 Ante Up for the Kids. The money raised will go for the "Toys for Tots". The 2006 Ante Up for the Kids Spring Poker Run was a big success and included 491 participants.

The event opened as the bikers, from across Arizona, gathered at the Cliff Castle Casino at 10 a.m. and rode 109-miles through the Verde Valley. On Their journey the bikers stopped at Prescott Valley Motorcycles in Prescott Valley, Mingus Mountain, KA Cycles in Cottonwood and Windmill Park in Cornville and the final stop was at the launching point at Cliff Castle Casino.

At each stop, participants randomly picked a card giving each one of them a full poker hand by the end of the run. The participants were awarded with Cash prizes for the highest and lowest poker hands.

The winning hands were of Peter Scifo of Glendale, Arizona who won $1,000 for the highest poker hand, Larry Winse of Bellemont, Arizona who also won $1,000 for the highest poker hand and Bernie Sanchez of Cottonwood, Arizona who won $500 for the lowest poker hand.
