Mariah Carey at the Resort
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Mariah Carey will perform at the Oneida Indian Nation's Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
Carey released her first album, which turned up to be a big hit, in the early 90s. Carey also released a number of hit singles, including "Vision of Love," "Love Takes Time," "Someday", "I Don't Wanna Cry" and more singles from the albums "Emotions" and "MTV Unplugged".
Carey's success continued to grow during the '90s when released singles with artists like Boys 2 Men, Sean Combs, Missy Elliott and Whitney Houston, including the hits "Butterfly," "When You Believe" and one of her greatest top of the charts hit "One Sweet Day".
Mariah Carey won nearly 100 awards, an amazing accomplishment for an artist her age. Amongst the many awards, Carey won five Grammys, "Artist of the Decade" and "World's Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium" honors.
Carey will perform songs from all of her albums, including her latest album, "The Emancipation of Mimi".
