According to Telephia's resent reports, mobile casino games represent 17 percent of the total profit share for mobile games.
The reports show that during February and March, the top four carriers in the U.S., (Cingular, Verizon, Sprint Nextel, and T-Mobile) had at least two poker titles on their bestsellers list at once.
More than 20 percent of the top deck slots across the major carriers are occupied by poker game titles, according to Telephia's report.
The Telephia Deck Monitoring Report provide information on current game position, number of weeks on specific decks, and changes in rankings from week to week it does so by measuring changes in positions for mobile game titles across 12 different decks for top carriers.
Cell phone decks are usually updated weekly, if not more frequently. The importance is to inform content providers to understand how the shifting, dynamic environment impacts their bottom line.
