Oregon Indian Show
A free concert in tribute to Oregon’s Native Americans will be held in the Chinook Winds Casino Resort showroom on May 13 at 6 p.m. The show will be free and has no age limit.
In honor of Oregon’s Native American heritage the show will include traditional dance and storytelling performed by some of Native American most talented performers. The musical and movement show will be performed by the popular Yotl Tum Tum LawSuk Troupe (Proud Dance Troupe) with Black Stone Drum Group.
The event will begin with an Honor Guard at 6pm and Lords Prayer at 6:05pm performed in Indian sign by Siletz Royalty. In addition to dancing, drumming and storytelling, the show will also include a comedy act by James and Ernie.
The event will end at 8pm with the Retiring of the Colors by the Siletz Honor Guard. Chinook Winds Casino Resort is located on the beach in Lincoln City at 1777 NW 44th St. the resort is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
