Native American Music Awards recipient, Jana, is coming to perform at the Washington Hilton in the Capital on April 27. The event will take place at the Congressional Club's First Lady's Luncheon.
Jana has been nominated by this year's Native American Music Awards committee for Artist of Year and Record of the Year on her album "Flash of a Firefly". Jana's album, "American Indian Christmas", is nominated for the Best Producer award. The album was recorded under the Oneida Indian Nation's Standing Stone Records label.
Jana was also chosen by The Native American Music association as the Female Artist of the Year and picked her dance single "More Than Life" as the best pop single of 2001. The single was remixed by MTV DJ Skribble and Anthony Acid.
