A survey carried out by several casino developers with plans for the Lehigh Valley aims to demonstrate how state officials have underestimated the annual revenues from the slots. The report was submitted to the state Gaming Control Board and has had a deep impact in local governors.
One of those casino developers stated that his casino revenues are likely to reach almost 200 million dollars a year, while the Senate report estimated it would likely bring in 93 million dollars.
Vincent Fumo, a Senate leader from a minority party, said that he participated in the writing of the Senate report and added that it was biased by conservative ideas from the very beginning.
