Most of the baseball industry believes Bonds will be elected to the Hall of Fame eventually. At the time he is alleged to have used drugs, there were no rules against performance enhancing drugs. Bonds had great achievements at the time before the alleged use of drugs, but his truly best performance is at the time the drug use is believed to have taken place.
Alex Czajkowski from Sportsbook.com said it is considered the biggest individual honor in baseball being voted into the Hall of Fame and even more on the first ballot. Because of that, voters would think twice before voting Bonds in.
